Food...
A simple word that can mean very different things to different groups.
Food is delicious, essential, wonderful. Food can also be a challenge, confusing, scary. And the production of food is a complete mystery to many urban dwellers.
Social media has been a blessing and a curse for those who have an interest in food production. Unfortunately, too many use unfounded fears to influence the public’s food choices.
During my talks, I help the audience navigate the many misinformation-filled blind alleys and rabbit holes to arrive at a better understanding of the realities of food and its production.
I particularly love the Q&A session after each talk. When possible, I try to stay until there are no more questions.
My talks are:
- Delivered with passion and humour
- Informative
- Based on sound science
- Thought-provoking
- Designed to help the audience gain confidence with their own future discussions
- Tailored to each audience
